STUART SLADE

Stuart Slade's work is concerned with creating sculptures which examine the human condition and how it can relate to our reliance and dependence on machines and technology.

The work is also an expression of his own inner feelings of fear, paranoia, humour, and confusion. This has developed from the chaos within his dreams.

Stuart Slade often combines fun and the fantastic to create sculptures with a darkly surreal edge, which sometimes displays a strong sci-fi aesthetic.

Having graduated only in 2009 with a BA (Fine Art - Sculpture) from Northbrook College, Stuart Slade has exhibited at Cass Sculpture Foundation, Goodwood, and some people may remember his large scale "Spiders" on the A27 Roundabout as part of the Arundel Festival in 2008.
