This is the first piece to be made on this theme.

Purchased by Zimmer Stewart Gallery from Kitty Shepherd's studio in 2004.
Inspired by the pre-industrial revolution techniques of the 17th century potters of North Devon and Somerset, who are known for their slipware and sgrafitto decoration, Kitty Shepherd has brought the method right up to date with her contemporary thought provoking designs.
Kitty Shepherd's designs are based on contemporary culture, where she likes to mix up familiar or iconic imagery onto traditional forms.
