Withycombe Dream by Tom Hammick

This print is from the Making of Poetry series of woodcuts used to illustrate the book by Adam Nicolson, published in May 2019.

The book looks at the year 1797-8 when Coleridge and Worsdworth were both in Quantocks, and produced some of their best works.

The title refers to the place where Coleridge stayed, Withycombe Farm, not far from Culborne Church.
