ABOUT ARUNDEL
Just 90 minutes away from London in the heart of West Sussex is the market town of Arundel.
Dominated by its Norman Castle and straddling the River Arun it sits between the South Downs National Park and the English Channel
There are events here most months - the main ones being:
Corpus Christi, which is celebrated in the Cathedral and Castle in June.
Arundel Arts Festival, which lasts for 10 days taking in the August Bank Holiday
Arundel Food Festival, in the third week of October
Arundel by Candlelight takes place on the second Saturday in December
Look out for the many music, theatre and art venues as well - each with their own programme of events.
There is also a rich variety of thriving, independent retailers, all giving a highly individual welcome. The Georgian and Victorian town centre has become famous not only for its antique shops but also for its wide range of other contemporary shops and galleries.
Arundel's Farmers Market takes place on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
