KAORI TATEBAYASHI

Kaori Tatebayashi was born in Sage Japan, and studied at the Doda High School of Arts and Crafts before the Kyoto City University of Art (BA 1995, MA 1997).

In 1995 she won a student scholarship to the Royal College of Art and in 1999 was guest student at the Kolding Design School of Art.

Kaori has exhibited widely in the UK and Japan, including Ceramic Art London, West Dean (Sussex) , Origin (London), Art in Clay (Hatfield) and Chelsea Crafts Fair.

Kaori also teaches and has held workshops in Kassel, Germany and the Hub Centre in Lincolnshire and Gallery Okura, Tokyo.
